GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

New students of any of the official university programs taught at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico:
UNEATLANTICO has created a scholarship program that aims to assist students with brilliant academic records to enroll in bachelor’s degree programs. We consider it necessary to boost student profiles that have shown a high level of effort and dedication throughout their education by rewarding their talent and academic excellence.
Requirements for Applicants
- Have completed the pre-registration process in any of UNEATLANTICO’s official bachelor’s degree programs.
- Have an average grade that meets the academic requirements of this call.
- Have gained admission to the Universidad Europea del Atlántico by obtaining an Advanced Level Specific Vocational Training diploma, have passed the university entrance exams for those holding a high school diploma, or have met the access requirements established by current regulations.
Application Procedures and Documentation
The candidate must submit the following documentation:
- A hard copy of the Scholarship Application Form, which can be obtained in person at UNEATLANTICO’s Student and Scholarships Office or downloaded by clicking on the link on the upper right corner of this website.
- A transcript of the studies granting access to a bachelor’s degree (EBAU transcript, Advanced Level Specific Vocational Training academic certification, etc.). The document must state the average grade obtained or, if not possible, the grade obtained in each subject.
The submission of this documentation is independent of any documentation that has been or will be submitted for registration or enrollment in the corresponding studies.

Application deadline
The application period begins on January 7th and ends on August 1st.
Compatibilities
The Merit and Academic Excellence Scholarship is generally compatible with other scholarships or aids, whether public or private, excluding those included in a call belonging to the Universidad Europea del Atlántico.
In the event of submitting an application to other scholarship programs outside this institution, students will be responsible for learning about their compatibility with other calls. Students must also accept the consequences of non-compliance with the regulations established in each of the programs.
Students may apply for any other type of scholarship, exemption, or financial aid offered by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, although it may only be possible for the applicant to receive one of them if the eligibility criteria is met. The exception is FUNIBER’s Residence Scholarship for UNEATLANTICO, which is compatible with the Merit and Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Analysis of Applications and Resolution
The Scholarship Committee will be responsible for resolving which applications meet the eligibility requirements. The resolution may be issued on August 15th, inclusive.
Applicants may need to provide additional documents or corrections within 10 days if requested, with the understanding that if they fail to do so, their application will be considered withdrawn. The rectification request will be personally notified to the applicant through one of the notification channels indicated in the scholarship application.
The Scholarship Committee's decision shall be personally communicated to the scholarship holder. An appeal against the Committee's decision may be submitted within 10 calendar days from the date of their decision. The appeal shall be evaluated and resolved by the rector of the university within one month. No appeal shall be allowed against the decision issued by the rector to this effect.
Scholarship Settlement
There are two types of scholarships, depending on the percentage of applicable economic exemption. Firstly, applicants who graduated with honors will be granted a 100% exemption from tuition fees.
Secondly, applicants with an average grade ranging from 9 to 10 will be granted a 75% exemption.
