Master in Primary Education with specialization in Therapeutic Pedagogy at Pädagogische Hochschule der Steiermark, Graz. MA in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at Karl-Franzens-Universität, Graz. Specialized training in adult literacy in immigration contexts and teaching German as a second language. Full Professor and researcher since 2006 and Director of the Department of Agriculture (2009-2015) at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy). Director of the Doctoral School of Agriculture. Nearly thirty years of academic research careers, in which he has focused on different aspects of fruit breeding, biotechnology, cropping systems and fruit quality and consumer health benefits.
