D. Cum Laude with honors in Contemporary History from the University of Cantabria. He has been Research Visitor at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. He has received the History and Geography Research Award from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Cantabria, the XVI Concepción Gimeno de Flaquer Award from the University of Zaragoza and the runner-up prize of the XXIV Carmen de Burgos Feminist Dissemination Award from the University of Malaga. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Aula Interdisciplinar Isabel Torres de Estudios de las Mujeres y del Género of the University of Cantabria.
