She is also the affiliated professor and scientific advisor with Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana, PR, USA. Her main research interests are Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Computational Methods. She is a regular reviewer for prominent journals in the field including IEEE IoT, CMPB, IEEE JBHI, ACM Transactions on Sensors etc. She has published more than 70 papers in high impact scientific journals and initiated a novel line of research.

He has held various positions in the College of Agricultural Technical Engineers of Cantabria and in the General Council of Colleges of Agricultural Technical Engineers of Spain.
