In an increasingly interconnected global environment, effective communication and the ability to adapt to a variety of cultural and linguistic contexts have become strategic pillars for any organization. In this context, the combined program in Translation and Language Teaching, along with the specialization as a Specialist Course in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Marketing and Communication, not only meets current demand but also anticipates future needs.
Translation and language teaching form the foundation upon which clear, accurate, and culturally relevant communication is built. However, in the digital age, these competencies require constant development. This is where artificial intelligence applied to marketing and communication plays a central role: it enables the optimization of processes, in-depth analysis of audiences, the personalization of messages on a large scale, and improved efficiency in the creation and adaptation of multilingual content. The integration of these two areas is strategically structured: on the one hand, linguistic knowledge provides rigor, cultural sensitivity, and high-quality communication; on the other hand, artificial intelligence introduces advanced tools that enhance these capabilities, transforming the way messages are designed, translated, and disseminated in accordance with the situation and communicative intent.
Throughout the course, students will work with real cases and professional tools, allowing them to acquire practical experience and develop key competencies to face current market challenges.
Objetives:
- Understand the role of AI in transforming marketing and communication strategies.
- Learn how to use artificial intelligence tools to optimize campaigns and content.
- Develop the ability to personalize messages and user experiences through data analysis.
- Incorporate predictive techniques in the planning of marketing actions.
- Enhance strategic and creative thinking in data-driven decision-making.
- Master practical methodologies to implement AI solutions in real marketing environments.
It has the following distinctive features:
- Design of a trilingual curriculum in which students achieve a C2 level in English and Spanish, and a C1 level in a second foreign language (French or German) during their studies.
- Students have the opportunity to study a third foreign language (French or German) and reach a C1 level.
- Training in two different professions and specialization in a professional field through one of the following specialties, one of which the student must complete:
- Translation and Interpretation (MTI).
- Language Education (MEL).
- Work placements hold a key role, carrying a weight of 12 credits in the study plan to ensure hands-on professional experience.
- State-of-the-art facilities that support practical training, including a computer lab equipped with translation software, a language laboratory, and interpreting booths for hands-on practice.
- Students have the opportunity to pursue the Specialist Course in International Relations, which provides them with a comprehensive education in areas such as international organizations and treaties, foreign policy, comparative political systems, globalization, geopolitics, and international cooperation.
Trilingual Education
In the Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Language Teaching, students receive a trilingual education: in Spanish, English, and either French or German. To be eligible for the program, students must demonstrate a B1 level of English proficiency. For French and German, no prior knowledge is required.
The English language training offered throughout the program enables students to achieve a level of proficiency in this language (C2) and, as a result, to compete in the job market on an equal footing with graduates of this degree program in other European countries.
To this end, a curriculum has been designed in which, in addition to students learning English starting in the first year, 50% of the required subjects are taught in English.
Students must choose to study a second foreign language: French or German, with the option of taking the other language as an elective (French or German). Despite starting with no prior knowledge, the training provided from the first year equips them with oral and written proficiency at a C1 level, enabling them to take courses taught in these languages during the second cycle of their studies.
